When Welty Building Co. required a skilled Carpentry & Interior Finishes team for Woodridge Schools’ new 134,000-square-foot campus, Marous Brothers Construction took on the challenge.

The team managed a comprehensive general trades package that included cold form framing, trusses, rough carpentry, drywall, metal framing, and ACT ceilings throughout the new addition and existing structures. This project brought together two elementary schools under one roof, creating a unified campus with the middle and high schools. The 110,000-square-foot new construction and 24,000-square-foot renovation were completed within a 12-month schedule. Unique features included large, garage-style doors that opened into a common area, allowing flexible, collaborative spaces. The campus also included auditorium and theatre spaces, two gyms, a library, and three wings of open, two-story classrooms, designed to foster a modern and interactive learning environment for students and staff.
