The unique curvilinear shape of the structure added complexity to the project, challenging the team to meet stringent quality, schedule, and budget requirements. Working closely with Classic’s senior management team, we ensured that all project goals were met despite these demands. On the building’s exterior, the construction team installed a new stone panel façade over a metal stud-framed rainscreen system, which covered the original EIFS stucco material. A small service area addition was constructed at the rear of the building to accommodate two vehicles, along with an exterior canopy for service write-up. Inside, the team created a curving architectural soffit “cloud” measuring 8 feet wide by 60 feet long, suspended from the roof structure with aircraft cable to follow the exterior curve. They also installed custom millwork, lighting, and interior partitions, including some curved walls, and renovated existing plumbing and HVAC systems to fit the new layout. To meet the fast-tracked three-month timeline, long-lead materials were ordered early in the Preconstruction Phase, ensuring the project stayed on track for timely completion.
